L'ÂME IMMORTELLE - Momente (2012)

Otro regreso importante dentro de la escena gótica.Thomas Rainer y Sonja Kraushoffer se han tomado un momento para volver juntos luego de haber estado ocupados en sus proyectos musicales personales.Momente no desentona en ningun momento con la identidad de L'âme Immortelle, percusiones pesadas y sintetizadores impecables detrás del logrado contraste entre la angelical voz de Sonja y la agresividad de Thomas.No ofrecen nada nuevo en cuanto al sonido,  pero tampoco defrauda.

OBSCURA - Omivium (2011)

Reconozco que no le había prestado demasiada atención a esta banda germana de death metal progresivo, fue a partir de este album que me impresionaron totalmente.Esta virtuosa agrupación que reúne musicos experimentados de bandas como Necrophagist y Pestilence, por ejemplo, editó un album genial que combina excelentes riffs pesados death metal que coquetean con el black por momentos y nos ofrecen un despliegue instrumental admirable.Uno de los mejores discos del año es este para mi.

SOPOR AETERNUS - Children Of The Corn (A Tryptichon Of Ghosts III) 2011

Hace muy pocas semanas tuvimos el placer de conocer la tercera parte de la trilogía "A tryptichon of ghosts", comenzada en el 2010, que continuó en la primera mitad de este semestre con "Have you seen this ghost?". La diosa Anna Varney Cantodea siempre logra deleitarnos con su paisaje sonoro atestado de misterio, oscuridad, instrospección, agradable y triste simultáneamente.En este disco utiliza muchos instrumentos de percusión, creando una atmósfera mas ritualista y menos neoclásica.
