DARGAARD-Eternity Rites (1998)

Dargaard fue fundado por Tharen (Abigor, Amestigon, Heidenreich, Dominion III) en 1997. La banda era su oportunidad de desmarcarse de su estilo habitual, black metal, y experimentar con diferentes formas de expresar posturas y sentimientos. Con Elisabeth Toriser (Abigor, Antichrisis, Dominion), que llevó la responsabilidad vocal en 1998, DARGAARD terminó satisfactoriamente la grabación de su album de debut, “Eternity rites”, publicado por Napalm Records a través de Draenor Productions en octubre de 1998. En agosto del año siguiente DARGAARD volvió al estudio.Esta banda toca con un estilo neo-clásico de inspiración totalmente medieval. Escucharlos con los ojos cerrados supone ser transportado a un mundo perdido de castillos colgados en lo alto de montañas nevadas, bosques y praderas solitarias mecidas por el viento y doncellas cantando a su soledad desde las ventanas de sus torres. Líricamente, la banda canta al tiempo, a la noche, al espíritu de la tierra, a la eternidad, la muerte, el fuego y los poderes oscuros.
